What are you all getting your fathers and FIL for Christmas? I'm absolutely stumped trying to come up with something for my lovely dad. Would love to steal to hear your ideas. Dad is late 50's and very into wine, tennis and endless hours of Minesweeper. He has pretty much everything he wants and needs.

Got FIL a cover for his sat man/nav thingy,
SF has got Harry Potter DVD, Aftershave and a set of books.

I'm still stumped for something else for FIL.

If your Dad likes wine have you thought of one of the wine club things? I don't have any personal experience of them but I think the gist is that they send you a few bottles of wine a month from small vineyards.

FIL's getting a shaving set, the old fashioned type with the soap & brush for lathering up, because he requested one. & my dad's recently taken up 'walking' with my sister (as well as cycling) so he's getting a walks in Yorkshire or something similar kind of book when I find one. My sister's getting a cycling in Yorkshire kind of book. They'll both get some use of them I hope

If he's into wine what about something like this?. We bought this for a friend a few years ago and he enjoyed it.

This year we're out of creativity and buying a new house so skint so my dad and FIL are getting a selection of real ale bottles and some amazon vouchers

My dad loves being thrifty, doesn't want or need anything, every year we get him a photo with all the grandchildren n, usually one we took in autumn, and then make him a cooking hamper (tins of chooped onions, beans, cooking sauces etc) becuase he loves it and batch cooks and then gives us all his cooking!

A sweater from Next and a big box of his favourite chocs (chocolate covered brazil nuts).

We got him and my mum a fab present last year - an Apple photo book of our boys from when they were born to the latest pics we had, some of the pics included my parents with the boys too.

I've got my dad (60) coldplay tickets! He doesn't know so will be nice surprise.
I usually struggle so have done well this year. He usually buys his gift himself and I give him the money!
Still haven't got anything for my mom though. Starting to panic a bit now.

a nice bottle of single malt
Independent wine shop voucher
