Help with a pate recipe

Big family christmas this year, and everyone has been given something to bring for lunch. I have been asked to bring pate as one of the starters.

Can anyone help with a simple pate recipe, would prefer something not too smooth?

Smoked mackerel is good, just skin the fish and mix with creme fraiche, black pepper and lemon juice. Best made a few days before

Thanks, sounds lovely to me but DP and SIL don't like fish.

I have used this recipe many times and it is always a hit. It is a smooth pate though... I wonder if you coukd modify it?

It is made in the microwave and all done in 15 mins, prep and cooking!! It is so simple to make and tastes yummy.
