Is it too late to make a Christmas cake?

I've never made one before but now I've started to think about it, I fancy having a go. Have I left it too late? If not, can anyone recommend a good recipe? Thanks.

Course you can. Just feed it really often after you've made it.

I hope not! I've just made mine tonight. I've cheated this year and used the Mary Berry Cake in a bag mix because I'm feeling lazy and at half price from Tesco (£5) it worked out at cheaper than buying all the ingredients separately- especially as I'm out of Brandy.

oh it's never too late! might not be quite as mature and boozy as an earlier one but will still be nice
