Ive made a list today and Im in a panic:

Make the mincemeat
Clean entire house (before Thursday so the carpets can be shampooed)
Get carpets shampooed
Having baking day
Make soaps with DD2
Buy soap kit!
Get a couple of stocking fillers
Go see Santa
Wrap almost everything
Arrange babysitter for day out with DH
Have day out with DH
Write cards
Post cards
Attend Christmas do of small local charity where I am a trustee
School Fayre x2
Another Fayre I am supposed to be helping out at
Buy alcohol
Buy extra snacks/cheeseboard etc
Finish DD1's scarf
Decide what to make DD2
Arrange to meet friends to swap presents
Book table for DD1s birthday
Do Amazon returns
Buy tree
Put up tree and decoration
Buy cards - parents, grandparents, DDs etc, and DD1s birthday card, wrapping paper, wrap presents etc
Write Christmas dinner shopping list
Ice the cake

In no particular order!

Come and tell me what you have to do and stop me wibbling. Im almost ready to open some of the wine I got FOR XMAS and its to be a no alcohol weekend I decided.

Post all my Christmas cards (early next week)
Put the tree and decorations up (next weekend)
Big Christmas clean and Christmas baking (both happen after kids break up from school)
get the Christmas booze (probably a few days before Xmas)
Wrap all the presents (probably on Christmas Eve in a mad rush!)

Wrap presents
Make cards or get DS to throw some paint and glitter on some paper
Make shortbread

And to top it all, DD1 has just opened the oven and the door has literally fallen to bits. Completely fallen apart. I think I might cry.

Um, I have a few presents, but that's about it. It's only just December! Term finishes 16 December (for me and dc) and I will fret then.

Oh, have made cake and pudding.

Put up tree (dh will do with dc).

Wrap the dc's presents (dh will probably end up doing this).

Wrap my family Secret Santa present (I will do this).

Buy dh's main present - probably a Kindle so just a couple of clicks really.

That's it. Oh, I feel better now I'm organised.

Just ordered a Kindle so scratch that off my list.

My oven is broken! that might be the baking hit on the head.

I do feel better that I am not alone in having lots to do. Im hoping to finish work on the 19th too. and not spend that entire week on MN

I have a cake (Mary Berry's cake in a bag mix) to make.
Presents to wrap.
Christmas eve PJs, socks, DVDs, hot choc sachets and Bubble bath to bung in Christmas bags for Christmas eve.
Tree to put up (DDs doing theirs as I write)
Mince pies to make
Visit Father Christmas on Christmas eve.

Christmas Fairs done (theirs and mine)
I don't post Christmas cards.
Letter to FC posted.
All gifts purchased
Wrapping paper bought (last year)

EVERYTHING

Wait for remaining presents to come from amazon
Write cards ( not loads)
Help ds make cards for family
Buy some treats
Put up tree
Wrap presents (dh is going away for 2 nights on 22/23 for a works conference/ party so will do it those nights at my leisure :) )
Help with nursery Xmas party

At work:

3 nativity performances
Help serve school Xmas dinner
Carol service
Stop kids going crazy with excitement

Make something for Jacob's join thingy

um,

finish buying the presents
wrap the presents (not even started yet)
put the decorations up
order the tree (ordering tomorrow)
feed my cake, marzipan and ice it to look like a tardis
clean and tidy my house
buy, write and send christmas cards
work out what meat we are having for christmas dinner
buy all the christmas food
send the girls father christmas letters and get ds2 to write and send his
make gingerbread daleks
um, probably loads more that i cant think of right now

Wrap presents that have yet to be delivered
Buy mum's presents adn send if she's not coming up (still hasnt told me what she is doing yet)
write chrsitmas cards and send them (waiting for school photos to come back first for IL's and exp first)
buy hampers for Aussie mates and Exp
Dress and trim tree when delivered
Pay for meats when they get delivered to butcher
Clean and decorate the house

other than that, I'm baking with the kids when they finish school. Not much really.
