DS1 once started and finished his list with very polite gushing about how pleased and grateful he was for all present received in previous years together with profuse thank yous. Trying a little too hard I think!

HappyAsEyeAm · 05/12/2011 12:05

It hasn't occurred to Ds that he coudl actually ask FC for something specific! He's 4. He knows (and rememebrs from last year) that FC delivers Christmas presents to the good boys and girls. And he remembers what he received. And he would like some more presents this year. But he hasn't taken it that stage further and said that he woudl like X or Y.

I know that this will change by next year!

I suggested to him last week that maybe he could ask FC for a new level crossing for his train set (as his has broken) and he looked at me all confused!

Aw bless Soupy, obvoiusly being very polite is in order!

And happy, that's quite cute, wish my dcs didn't ask for specifics, it would make the 'santa must have run out of that shite toy but look at all these lovely gifts he got you' a lot easier Xmas Grin
