Pop up tent - would this work?

DSs outgrown the Chad valley one they have but has been a hit and well played with.

thinking about getting this as a join present pop up tent. It seems a good price and make.

Would it be able to be pitched indoors though do you think? Obviously can't use tent pegs. we are lucky as we have a playroom so it can go in there.

DS1 not really a toy boy so I am starting to panic a bit.....!

Looks good no reason you can't put it up indoors that I can think of.

You can usually pick those type tents up very cheaply search for the gelerts make.
Ds has one which he uses force scout camp and says it would be fine indoors

the blue one is cheaper

Outdoormegastore has a camoflage one for £24-99

Ooh fab - I had forgotten about outdoor megastore - I got a Vango tent from them - ordered at 2pm and it arrived the next morning at my desk!! Fab. I thought the gelert ones in Argos weren't pop up ( no poles guys doable in the playroom) but I think they are!

But I did like the red QUECHUA one.... do you Outdoormegastore is out of stock. Do you think the blue argos one here is too girly for DS 4 & 6? Do you think it would stay up okay without pegs and guys.....

Okay - decided I've been over thinking this - they are boys - little one is a nutter at times - it will get trashed soon enough - I will be pissed off if I have spent £30 because I thought that one day it might be used as a proper tent! - ordered this one WAS £7.98!!! so is now classed as a stocking filler!!!!

To be honest bridge pop up tents were the best toy buy we had. They were still using the tellytubbies one we bought when DS was a baby when they were 10. We had a selection of different toy ones and a few tunnels and they loved them.
Would still have them now if the mice in the garage hadn't eaten them.

The pop up ones do stay up by themselves, they only need the pegs to stop them blowing away outside.

But a warning I wouldn't try folding them up with a glass of Wine in your hand Wink or even after you have had a Wine

I know - we have a pop up family beach tent and the first time we used it my husband spend AN HOUR and lots of swearing trying to get it in the bag! Definitely something you need to get the nack of.. of course I did it in seconds!! but he would not accept any help.....
