Please help - what is DD4 describing????

Hope someone out there can help me. DD4 has written a letter to santa today asking for a toy cat with clothes to dress up in. I told her that I don't think they exist but both her and DS7 say they have seen an advert for one on tv. I've searched through argos, tesco and the entertainer catalogues but drawn a blank.

Any mumsnetters out there know what she is describing? She only has 2 things on her list so really want to find it.

How about this?

LolaLadybird · 30/11/2011 21:56

I think you are going to have to all pull a sickie and sit through a whole morning of Milkshake Wink! Milkshake has a lot to answer for, DD (6) has rewritten her FC list several times depending on what has been advertised that morning and DS (4) keeps calling me in during the ad break saying 'want that, want that'! Mind you, I guess it's no different to me and my brother pulling out the big mail-order catalogue when we were small to compile our lists!

TheHouseofMirth · 30/11/2011 22:20

See this is why i only allow my DSs to watch BBC tv in the run up to Christmas! Good luck OP.

Ok, dd2 is home poorly so i am sat infront of Milkshake waiting for the adds (whilst dd2 is doing something else) Grin

Build a Bear used to be clients of mine....I've just called their UK marketing team and cheered them up big time Grin

mumeeee · 01/12/2011 10:06

Build a bear do cats.

TooManyBlossoms · 01/12/2011 10:08

Honeydragon Did you point out their, erm, 'unusual' choice of word for the description? Grin. I mean I know that the selling point of build-a-bear is that you fill the toys yourself, but it's not my choice of filling material Grin

Honeydragon · 01/12/2011 10:15

I asked if they'd crossed from the American site she said yes with a few changes. I made her log on to the cat and read the first sentence aloud ... then nothing down the line but sniggering. Grin

Oh god I should have ordered one and sent it back as incorrectly stuffed!

I would love to read the internal emails that are going on today.

Dear Website team
Please remove the spunk from the cat.

Thankyou

Marketing.
