Cocktails that men love! Any suggestions?!

I am making cocktails after dinner Christmas day.

Any ideas for the men much appreciated!

Mojitos!

Martini - make them feel like James Bond!
You could lay in some port as well.

Tee hee if its DH pina colados (thinks back to embarassing honeymoon incident where Italian waiter served her his pina colado with sparklers and umbrellas, and him her Manhattan in a plain martini glass...)

DH likes Long Island Iced Tea, but then he is an 80's throw-back!

Another male friend likes cuba libres - easier than mojitos!

Something with whisky is quite manly - or Brandy Alexander?

My DH also likes long island iced tea, it's super strong though!

Caipirinha, just sugar, lime juice, ice and cachacca so nice much better that mojitos

Martinis or Zombies...they get you drunk from the feet up.....I've done it

Tequila slammer. In the singular as none of us is getting any younger and that whole thing with the salt and lemon would probably mean my gums would be giving me gyp all night.

Negronis. Gin, Campari and sweet vermouth. Serve in short glass with a straw

whisky sour

My DH loves Long Island Iced Tea.

It's really boozy and because of the coke in it, it isn't a pink girly-looking cocktail.

Plus it is really really yummy :)

I second the Negroni. It's a grown up cocktail.

Vodka Martinis, which I once read are supposed to be 'stirred not shaken'.

I second Caipirinha - gorgeous but only if the men in question like sour flavours. Yes to Long Island Iced tea too - it's dark and strong and needs no fussing about with cherries etc.

Whiskey sour?

Guiness and champers - forget what it's called but it's a real drink.
