Where to buy nice Christmas stocking & sack?

Can anyone recommend where I can get a nice Christmas stocking & sack for dd? It's her second Christmas this year, and she'll be 21 months, so would like to get ones that we can use every year now. Nothing pink!

I got fantastic ones two years ago from Blooming Marvellous. Huge, not pink, personalised but a bit pricey - £40 I think but will last forever.

Here, I know her a bit and she has just made stockings for my 2, they were £9 each. The "Sam" and "Amy" ones in the pics. She also does Santa Sacks, which I think are £15.

her email is [email protected]

Thanks Blibblibs, but it seems they don't exist any more! Thanks Bikeskirun, they look nice, I'll have a proper look.

I've just bought a sack from Bollywood Christmas here and it is lovely, in cream and red with a Scandinavian feel to it. Am going back for more from there I think

Sorry, BikeRunSki! Smile

Petite, no worries, I hardly do any of those sports any more. I should change my name to FeedCookWash.

She's probably still a bit little, but my mum gave my sister and me each a plain white pillowcase (I was probably about 4) and we decorated them one year with fabric crayons - we used them for about fifteen years!

That might be a nice thing to have in mind for future years if you don't find one that's everything you'd imagined

Land's End ones are beautiful and traditional and lots of choice of design.

Cargo have nice stockings (though not sure if they sell sacks too).

WeekendsAreTooShort · 29/11/2011 19:05

I got some from the white company with 15 percent off and clicked to them through topcashback.co.uk and got 10 percent cash back too. I saw them inge shop first and they were gorgeous

Thanks for the replies! Morag those are lovely, I think I might go for the 'Santa with reindeer'! Dh has suggested I make one, but whilst I can sew, I'm not very creative, so would have to find something to copy anyway, which would sort of defeat the object.

Notonthehighstreet.com have some gorgeous ones (can't link on phone)

madmomma · 29/11/2011 20:59

pastgrace that's a lovely idea. I may nick that Smile

moragbellingham · 29/11/2011 22:07

They are lovely - we have that one and a Santa with Xmas tree (which the pet?? has replaced).
Check the dimensions first though as you might be surprised at the size. I didn't want huge stockings to fill so thought these were just right.

My order took about a week but I wouldn't leave it much longer than now to be sure.

ThePetiteMummy · 29/11/2011 22:11

Thanks Thefoxesbrush, loads to choose from there! Agreed, nice idea Pastgrace, but as you say, I'm not sure dd's scribbles this year would produce anything worth keeping!

Thanks Morag, I'd better make my mind up soon then! Good tip about the sizes too, don't want to set the bar too high for years to come!

mad just make sure you get the pillowcases the right way up - I did mine upside down and had to have an upside down picture on my stocking for what seemed like all eternity. I was so embarrassed. Obviously my mum thought it was cute so wouldn't let me do another Hmm

Fabulous sacks and stockings in Mamas and Papas stores and online. We have them (from 3 years ago) and they're gprgrous.

ThePetiteMummy · 30/11/2011 19:43

Thanks Happy, hadn't thought to look there, will check them out!

We have white company stockings here - gorgeous, and good quality.
John Lewis usually have lovely ones as well.
