I've no clue. So far I have a book, DVD, 2 mini Lego surprise figures and choc coins. I would like to get some games or fun/disgusting stuff...

Obv. I'll put in a toothbrush/pjs etc as well.

Brilliant, thanks Mutt. Squirrels, I can't think of any nearby market that I will be visiting but will file that away for future reference.

My dcs have also loved Magic Bath Beans in the past. Great sadness when i eventually threw away all the mini sponge shapes!

I'm sure Cox and Cox also sell cap guns. I have no idea of the legality of them but can't imagine they would be so readily available if they were illegal.

Some great ideas on here thanks for this thread WinnySmile

Space food..that's a new one on me! Sounds just like ds's sort of thing(adds to list).

I would add a Newtons cradle (you can get small ones), chocolate shaped calculator, a banana box (Confused no idea why I got that really but ds loves bananas), welly socks, calendar, chocolate money.

Thanks all- some great ideas here. I don't know why it seems so hard (for me) to find cool stuff for DS- is it me or is he just in this akward phase where 'babyish' toys don't interest him anymore but he is still too young to care about clothes etc older boy might like.

Just came back from a shop and got him some more caps (or maybe they'll be for DN), whoopie cushion, sparklers and this really cool thing which is just 24 cards with drawings/solutions on the back and matches: so 24 problems to solve like by moving just 2 matches create 5 triangles etc-I think he'll like it.

Still, I had to tear myself away from all the cute stuff for girls Grin

Why there seems to be so many more nice stuff for girls than there is for boys?

My DS is 12 but still likes a stocking full of little things to open.

They are super wrapped to keep them busy!

He's got:
Mini torches (keyring)
3D bookmark (Hawkins Bazaar)
Snaps (HB 50p)- they bang when you throw them at a wall
Magnetic metal things , oval (HB)
Tiny measuring tape (HB)
Transformer toys in plastic egg
Dinosaur cards in tin (£ shop)
Tiny jigsaw
Model dinosaur and 3D puff paint
A Soap-on-a-Rope Duck
