My DS (aged 2) has just started at nursery and we've been told he's in the Xmas play as a star. We have to provide his costume and I don't know where to start! Can anyone help?

Or ASDA, or Tesco. They all sell lovely gold and silver star cossies Grin

2 large cardboard stars covered in tinfoil, couple of strips of card to join them together over the shoulders. Dress child in long-sleeved tshirt and joggers (black or white or navy, plain anyhow).

This works as long as he doesn't have to sit down!

Make star shapes from two giant cardboard boxes then string together over the head - like those golf sale signs people wear?

Spray paint gold or silver and throw glitter on?

Or dress in black and just make a small star with a hole to put his face through? Or a star mask with eye holes?

watch Nativity dvd - loads of stars in there

When my DS was a star I dressed him in a white t short and white trousers with tinsel round the edges. Then I made a star out of cardboard (with a hole in it), spray painted it in gold and put it on his head. He looked so beautiful - love to see kids in white.
