Where to get a nice stocking

I want to get some good quality yet reasonably priced stockings. The plainer the better and on the larger size. I do not want the sacks that I have seen in places like the GLTC c atalogue as those are too big. Any ideas?

I got my 2 some lovely ones from The Little White company last year - haven't been in there but assuming they have similar this year too.

There are some gorgeous stockings in TKMaxx at the moment.

i second tkaxx - all their decorations are fab and cheap-ish too. I've just bought a few this morning - all very scandinavian/traditional looking to me!

IKEA have some nice ones too

I was going to say the Land's End ones too - they're lovely.
They can come out year after year and you can get them personalised too.

25% off at the moment (poss just today - 25PC).

Got mine for both DD's (3 years and 6 months) in M&S Outlet store (Doncaster) last month. RRP said £10 but cost £7. Traditional red and white knitted stocking (kind of nordic design) that won't embarrass them when they're still using them as teenagers! Wide enough to take a DVD/toiletries/small toys/sweets etc but not stupidly mahoosive (I'm not spending a fortune filling them!). Traditional and simple.

I got a large one for DS 3 years ago from Mamas and Papas and it is gorgeous. It has his name on it, and I bought a sack to match too. Such a sucker, me.

But I would really recommend them - fab quality, lovely volours to suit a boy or a girl, and very sweet. They're doing them this year too. And online.
