Microscope recommendation for 8 year old?

All ds wants for Chrsitmas is a microscope so we don't mind spending a bit more for one that will really work however they all seem to either be either very cheap or very expensive! Just wondering if anyone has bought or knows of a decent one?

I bought one from Bright Minds and buy a lot of stuff from there generally.
They have great stuff and excellent customer service.

amazon have a pocket one for a tenner and it gets really good reviews.
i also got for my son (on ebay or toys r us have them) an Eyeclops hand held magnifyer. plug into tv, point at things and away you go!

Thank you both, the brightminds one has really good reviews so I think we'll go for it. Strangley enough yoga I have already bought the amazon one and it great but just very small!
