My parents are v generous and as well as pressies they usually also make us a hamper. What i'd really like instead of biscuits and cakes etc though would be a hamper of nappies, wipes, formula, breadsticks, fruit pots, pouches of food for out and about etc. All the baby stuff that adds a fortune onto the monthly shop. Wouldn't dare say it though - I don't think they's see it as a present.

northernmonkey - do you have a furniture recycling place near you, such as Reclaim? We got ours within the last year for under £100 - lovely upright that I've been wanting for ages. I just missed having the piano to play so much!

Now, of course, my christmas wish is to actually have the time to play uninterrupted occasionally! Hmm

I'd like a KitchenAid. I do loads of baking but its too extravagant.

I'd like a tumble drier. My DH thinks we don't need one. Hmm

I'd like an iPad. Ditto.

I'd like a stress free Christmas

I'd like my dad to know it was Christmas and to be able to give him a present.

I'd like to go out for Christmas lunch so I didn't have to cook / clear away

I'd like people to stop hassling me about wanting to stay at home with the children and not be rushing to get to my parents for 10am. Although i feel bad saying that as I know even though my parents are fairly young (mid 50's) I will wish I'd spent more time with them when they are gone.

It's just I want a simple Christmas, a roast at home and then go to them for tea. My dad is brilliant but my mum makes everything so stressfull and it seems nothing is ever good enough and I'm a huge disappointment. :(

On a lighter note I'd love the perfect fan leather slouchy bag. If anyone knows where to buy said item please let me know :)

A super duper camera and a dozen other very expensive things. I think my entire Amazon if I win the lotto list would cost about 2k.

Bob Hope and no hope Grin

A large cheque.

Remus, what about getting a length of fabric with your own fly design from this lot and then employing a dressmaker making a skirt?

Nice idea. I live in hope that the people at Joules will decide that flies are the new flowers!
