Not sure what to get the inlaws this year. Was going to get digital photo frame but think it may never even get plugged in we live too far away to set it up for them. Have got things like M&s cashmere top garden cr vouchers and personalised calanders in past. What do you get your inlaws?

we don't go mad as we're skint
so MIL is getting the Flavia and Vincent dvd of them on tour (she loves Strictly) and Fil will get a sporty wii game or the latest book he likes by an outhor I've forgotten , Patterson I think
they would be horrified if we bought something like a digital photo frame, they'd rather we spent money on the kids

This year I had been going to get them a pasta maker as a friend of theirs had one and they were keen on it but then DH found The Telegraph doing a special deal on those personalized maps that centre on someone's home so think we'll get them one of those. It sounds pretty good, apparently has historical data as well. My parents have one and love it.

I have bought my in-laws things from Thompson & Morgan (plants) before - one year I got them a bonsai tree, another year a little plant with brightly-coloured peppers (quite christmassy). You can also get bowls of bulbs etc - nicely presented in attractive ceramic pots.

Or DVD box sets. This year I'm thinking of getting them a boxed set with the King's Speech and a couple of other DVDs.

I've used Not on the high street a few times, they are very good in my experience.
