please help me choose a dvd boxset for dh

He is really hard to buy for and has asked for a dvd boxset with no clues as to which one. He likes (and already has) the sopranos, 24, dexter, true blood, band of brothers, ultimate force (!), rome, family guy, my name is earl, and deadwood.
we borrowed the wire and west wing.
I was thinking of the killing, but danish or us version, and not sure if there is enough action.
Any other ideas anyone?

The trip. It was the funniest thing on tv this year.

Breaking Bad will definitely appeal, it is excellent, plenty of action and interesting storyline.

my 15 year old son has asked for the deadwood boxset if thats any good to you?

i know nothing about it but he says its supposed to be brilliant.

American version of The Office is hilarious (Ricky G is not in it so a big bonus before you even start.)

Another vote for Breaking Bad.

If he liked band of brothers than Pacific would be a good pick.

We've just watched Spooks and the first series of Luther and loved both.
