5inthebed · 13/11/2011 21:48

Try going in to Tesco. I got mine from there the other day and they still had them in a few days later.

lesstalkmoreaction · 13/11/2011 21:51

You could try keep checking the stock checker often stocks are replenished in the early hours of the morning!! www.stockinformer.co.uk/stock-vtech-innotab?ref=20&kwa=innotab%20in%20stock

Pascha · 13/11/2011 21:53

uk.bumblebuy.net/auction_details.php?auction_id=145138&googleps=1 says they are in stock

dirtgirlworld · 13/11/2011 22:06

Lots on eBay if you are prepared to pay well over the odds! I managed to reserve one from Argos the other day but apparently they were all reserved within an hour!

thisisyesterday · 13/11/2011 22:10

caaaaaaalm

just because they're out of stock now doesn't mean they'll be out of stock forever. you still have well over a month to get one.

just keep an eye out, and maybe find out if any stores near you are reserving them for the next delivery.

or look at something else like the leap pad? that's similar isn't it?

dirtgirlworld · 13/11/2011 22:11

Just checked all the above! Out of stock! Bugger. Will keep checking. Bumblebuy lied to me!

Moodykat · 13/11/2011 22:13

My advice would be to keep on and on checking! I was very lucky with Argos! (and only paid £63.99 which I was not expecting!)

dirtgirlworld · 13/11/2011 22:13

Yeah true. Never bought off eBay. I dont trust or understand it! Ha!

I see people selling Argos reservation numbers it's mad!

Ja9 · 13/11/2011 22:22

Shock at selling reservation numbers!!! I agree with just keep checking, you still have a month and places are getting them back in stock all the time. Xx

bodiddly · 13/11/2011 22:33

ah had you said pink I might have been able to help .. sorry!

hels1984 · 14/11/2011 12:32

thanks for trying for me lil!!! still no joy, going for approx £100 on ebay which is a bit OTT! i'll keep checkin argos/tesco everyday!

5inthebed · 14/11/2011 13:09

I will be going to my local Tesco tomorrow, I can chcek stock there if anyone wants me to?

Rosa · 14/11/2011 13:12

My vote is for the stock informer site..... I got a leapad thanks to them ! I had the 'alarm' on and I went on amazon 5 mins after I heard it and got one !

bodiddly · 14/11/2011 13:20

i think people have to sell them at that price on ebay as ebay selling fees are now 10% and paypal is about the same ... so the sellers probably only end up with the £80 retail cost.

KellyKettle · 14/11/2011 16:30

I got one from Tesco on Sat. Check Tesco site daily. I checked on Friday night and they had nothing, checked again on Saturday morning and they had them again.

I also spoke to someone in The Entertainer Toy Shop in Warrington who said they're expecting small shipments in from Vtech and if you go to their website you can register to be emailed when they're back in stock.

ChooChooWowWow · 14/11/2011 16:36

I have one reserved at argos. I don't need it anymore. I don't live anywhere near you but if there is anyway we could exchange money in a way we both trust I could get it and send it to you.

dirtgirlworld · 14/11/2011 20:42

That would be amazing! How do we go about doing the trade though? X

OP posts:
KellyKettle · 14/11/2011 20:46

Paypal? With gifted fees?

choochoo send it using recorded delivery or similar?

ChooChooWowWow · 14/11/2011 22:24

I do have a paypal account. Can you do paypal dirtgirl?

kelly whats gifted fees. I wouldn't know how to use paypal in this situation.

KellyKettle · 14/11/2011 22:44

It's where you say on PP that is a present and not payment for a service/item.

That way the person buying pays the PP fees - not much.

KellyKettle · 15/11/2011 00:46

Sorry was trying to soothe a colicky baby when I posted. It just means buyer agrees to pay fees and not seller.

I'm not sure what the rate is but I sent someone about £30 a few weeks ago and paid the fees and they were £1.something.
