Boxset recommendations for Christmas?

Can anyone recommend any DVD boxsets or single DVDs that are good but not so well known that could be a good present.

Not In Treatment, The Wire, Sopranos, 24, West Wing, but for someone who liked all of those. It's a bloke so not hospital stuff.
