flannel sheets?

I want to give my in-laws in Ireland flannel sheets for Christmas (they liked ours when they visited us in Canada last year). I haven't seen them listed anywhere, I tried John Lewis and a couple linen shops. Are they called something else in Europe?
Thanks!

Have you tried searching for flannelette sheets. John Lewis do fitted ones I think?

Try qvcuk.com they do a range of northern nights flannel or google northern nights Smile

YY get ye onto QVC and look at Northern Nights.

My DD has got 2 sets of flannel sheets/duvet/pillowcases. They wash beautifully and don't pill.
We've got 600 count cotton on ours (DH gets too hot in flannel)

I had priced up flannel in stores but I couldn't find any nice colours or matching sets.

Northern Nights is a QVC own brand.

No, I don't work for them Grin

Thanks, I had a look at the QVC site, some great options! The prints are gorgeous but I think plain is a safer bet!

ebay (not second-hand ones, though!) - put in "flannelette sheets" and quite a few vendors come up.

John Lewis only do white ones last time I looked. I wanted those candy-striped ones I remember having when I was little.
