It's not really too much, is it?

DD will be 2.11 by Christmas. I got her a Corolle doll (that comes with a potty and pees on it- trying to gently persuade DD to do the same).

Then I got a bit carried away and as the doll comes dressed in only a vest and underwear, I got 2 sets of clothes and also a medical kit (Corolle as well) for the doll so a syringe, stethoscope etc).

This will be the main gift, I'll get her a few Mog and Kipper books and she'll have a modest stocking as well.

DP says that we should keep the clothes and medical kit for her birthday which is a month later as it's too many things or rather too expensive (it wasn't cheap, truth to be told).

She'll get other gifts from the family as well (but probably not lots).

Btw I realize that it's not a very important question , just wondering what others think.

If DS is getting Star Wars Lego, how about the new Lego Star Wars Padawan Menace dvd? It's only £5 in Tesco at the moment, my nearly 8 year old likes it.

If the Star Wars Lego is something like the Death Star, it's huge, and comes in about 5 separate boxes, so you could always wrap them individually .

Would he like a Paper Jamz guitar? They are quite fun, and a nice size.

Is that a proper full length DVD ObiWan, or one of those 22 minute specials Tesco conned me with in the past?

I would get him a few other thing that are cheap but big - anything you can wrap up really! How about a new dressing gown? A bean bag for his room? A big crate to keep his lego in but fill it with balloons/sweets for now?

A board game for DS maybe? I have a 3 year old DS so older ones are a bit alien to me still!
