When do you wrap the presents?

Do you wrap your dc's presents as you get them or do you leave it till christmas eve? I'm thinking of doing mine on christmas eve this year (to keep me busy when dc's are in bed).

Dcs are done with H and BaileysGrinon Xmas eve and I do everyone else's at various other times

Over several evenings during December.

I have tried wrapping earlier, because even though I love wrapping presents at Christmas it can become a bit of a chore, but labels fell off, bows got squashed and I had to re-wrap several for that reason.

This year I am planning to do it after the kids are in bed, in the living room next to the tree, with music on and a nice glass of Baileys in my hand, and mince pies to scoff of course.

When the kids were all little, I'd have a wrapping evening. Treat myself to a nice box of chocolates, a few beers and sit in front of the telly. Now they are older I stash everything at my mums, and get her to supply me with coffee while I wrap.

I usually do mine at least a couple of weeks before Christmas (as some of them need posting). Usually do it in the dining room, so I can spread stuff out on the table, with Christmas carols on the CD player and a glass of wine.

I like to do a job lot of wrapping so I can sit down with a film on, glass of drink and get stuck in. This year I will be wrapping on 25th of November because I will have finished all by then, my mum has the children for the weekend so I can get down to it with no interruptions.

Then everything will be bagged/boxed away and got out again on Xmas eve after the children are asleep to go under the tree etc.

i have finished my shopping for the kids (unless they REALLY want something!) but still wont wrap til xmas eve. I have 2 dds aged 4 and 6 and ive bought some bits specifically for each but the rest i have picked up as i saw it so havent decided which one i'll give it too - plan on laying it all out and arranging in piles on xmas eve with a few drinks and chocs. I enjoy it! Family presents are wrapped the week or so before.

I LOVE wrapping presents, but find writing cards a bit of a chore so reward myself with the wrapping once all the cards are posted mid-December. Then go and wrap my mates as she hates it, so we drink wine, wrap, and chat. I make sure I do any awkward shaped presents before the second bottle glass

I wrap as I buy! If I've been shopping then I wrap that night. I don't add the tags and bows yet, will do that all on one evening after the tree has gone up (2 wks before). Untill then I have a nappy box with each persons name on and there gifts inside so they don't get mixed up.

I used to do them randomly but always found a present lurking somewhere unwrapped after the day itself. This year I intend to be more organised and I'll start with the DC's smaller presents tomorrow (after I go out tomorrow and buy wrapping paper and cards). I thoroughly intend to have them wrapped perfectly with ribbons, bows and real tags (before they were messy with a half arsed stick on bow and names written on a light piece of the wrapping paper for identification).
