I bought this advent calendar for DD last year . I love the way you add a piece every day to make the picture and the chunky pieces are great for DD (2 yo). The only thing is I'd rather it wasn't a nativity scene - I don't want to get into the whole 'it's what xmas is about' arguement but I'd rather not have a religious calendar if possible. I've looked everywhere fr something similar but with a different scene but can't find anything. I've seen some lovely soft material calendars that are similar - you use figures in the pockets to create a scene - but again they are all nativity scenes like this.
Has anyone seen a similar wooden or material calendar that doesn't show the nativity scene? I've looked at the playmobile calendars but you seem to have to replace them every year and I'd like something that lasts and I think DD might be too young.
