Innotab?

Loving these christmassy discussions!
This may have already been mentioned / discussed but DH and I are wondering about the vtech innotab for our DS. Anybody have any thoughts about if it's worth it?
Lots of places sold out at the moment too.

Have bought the Leapfrog Leappad - same thing I think for ds who is 5 has the advantage of a built in camera.

DS got the vtech camera recently for his bday which is why I thought the innotab cos they link together. The leap pad looks good too tho!

Good plan then

We've gone for the innotab as it has an mp3 player. Spent yesterday evening downloading all our iTunes on to it - very easy. Proof will be when the birthday boy opens it on Friday, but I had fun playing with it!

Sorry for jumping in, but can I ask where you managed to buy the Innotab?

I'm searching for one for dd and they seem to be out of stock everywhere ...

I managed to get one from argos. I had to check their website first thing each morning and reserve as soon as they got some. The early bird... and all that! I hope you manage to find one. I think Amazon had some, but only in blue.
