I've just written my list of people to buy presents for this Christmas. There's 44 people on it! And that's with some couples/ families getting a joint gift. Why did I fall in love with a bloke with such a large family?

Around 15-20 people.

I find it hard!

i do mum and dadd to do loads, and spend a fortune on them as dh has always done with his family and wanted to do the same with mine, but now or cut down list (and budget) stretches to

a gift each for parents and il's
family gift for sis, bil and 2 neices (possibly buy neice's a small token gift but they are both only babies atm)
brothers x 3
other sister and sil

and then close friends get a family gift usually something hand made like fudge, cookies or a cake

so bought presents are 10

I've spoken to dp and we're going to sit down with the list and see who we can cut.

It seems harsh but do we really need to buy for his aunt who we haven't seen all year?

I was thinking maybe wine presents incase people pop round but if they don't we can drink it ourselves?

If anyones cut people from their present list do you mention it of just not give? Any advise gratefully received, we just can't justify that much money this year.
