Which Playmobil advent calendar are you getting?

Was thinking maybe the ranch one for 5yr old dd

Ds had dragon's land with knights in it, or something very similar last year.

The alternative might be a Lego one, which he is into, but they seem to be a lot more money.

I am fine, thankyou, Norman. Got back from holiday yesterday, spent today (once I had dispatched jet-lagged DC to school) at GP and hospital dealing with the (as yet unidentified) tropical disease DH managed to bring back with him, but other than that...

£50, you say? That means brainwashing of DD, or starting brainwashing of other people's DC. There is one 2yo I think needs to be introduced to some of the cool 123 sets which didn't exist when my DC were small so I haven't played with them. If anyone spots the (now defunct) circus at a good price, I could definitely be persuaded....

Think you might have to try eBay for the circus....

I have finally had to retire our playmobil advent calendar after many years of good service last year. I have spent a fortune over the years filling it with the new specials, chocolates, cystal, lego that sort of thing. It was nice to just put it out, no hassle but I really liked the old format.

We have the nativity set which is mine and DS2 job to set up on christmas eve.

So what sets are you all thinking of for christmas? DS2 loves the top agents at the moment.

How about Dinosaur Expedition - has anyone seen that one in real life?

We are looking at some of the new leisure sets (I would love the new holiday home as a weekend residence myself!) as well as the Christmas sets (which ds may get for birthday, as his birthday is Dec 5th!)

Interesting you should be debating Playmobil mozzies, stealth - we were discussing the very same on the Nobdie thread the other day. We don't have Playmobil mozzies, because a) they'd be so small you wouldn't be able to see them and b) Playmo people don't have blood, so how would they survive????

True. For the same reason, I suspect you can manage without an isolation ward - the vast majority of playmobil hospital admissions must be surgical, presumably?

I expect so. Bossy Ross had to have surgery once, after Grandad stood on him and his leg got broken !

I'm thinking of the zoo for ds2, not sure whether to get the big city zoo or the asian zoo garden though.
