Thinking of making christmas biscuits for family this year to give with their presents, but am no baker. Can follow a recipie, but am concerned as to how long a shelf life they'll have. I would LIKE to make them in the first two weeks in Dec, but dont want them to go off.

OR if anyone could suggest an alternative that I could make at the start of Dec that would 'keep'?

Thanks

Biscuit dough freezes very well, so you could always make it, roll in a sausage shape cling film to freeze and then the day before you want to give them, just defrost, cut them into discs and bake. Or if you want festive shapes, do the same, but roll and cut the dough into the shapes and then open freeze.
