How do I get round this one?

Ds is insistent on leaving some presents for FC. Some badges he has made, a reindeer he has drawn and a FC from happyland. He wants FC to take them with him. I expect I could hide everything in my wardrobe for a long time but the happyland FC is part of a set and he will want to play with him again.

Hide the drawing (won't say burn it) and leave a note from FC about happyland saying thanks very much but the elves gave me one of these earlier and i think you should keep yours so whn you play with it you can remember me or suchlike

Take the pictures and the badges and then leave a note from Father Christmas saying something like "I am going to leave this for you to play with because every time you play with him he will remind you of me" or something like that! Would that work?

FC leaves the Happyland bit and takes the homemmade stuff.

FC always knows which presents are homemade, and as he has little room on his sleigh, only has room for the most special items.

That would work I think.

I usually have to help the tooth fairy write notes so will have to make sure my FC writing is different.

Thank you so much for the badges and reindeer I shall place them on my desk at the North Pole and treasure them however i couldn't possibly take your happyland santa as I know how much you enjoy playing with him.
The mince pies/cake and brandy/bailey's/milk were excellant, by far the best i've had tonight. I hpe you enjoy your presents.

Why don't you wrap up the little FC and put it in his stocking with a note saying

Thank you very much for the lovely badge and drawing and thank you for letting me borrow your father christmas, he was very helpful. I have finished now for the night so I thought I would return him to you so that you can play with him.

And then drop mysterious hints that FC made the mini FC come to life with his magic and he helped him with his present deliveries.
