Cooking a turkey

Hi, just wondering how everyone prepares their turkey which fat or oil you roast it in :)

I dont use oil, i push a few knobs of butter under the skin, place 2 rashers of bacon on top, season and add a cm of water to the tin/tray to stop it drying out.
