So having used ready rolled royal icing for years (some call it lazy......I call it playing to your strengths and acknowledging your weaknesses 
) I thought I would give the ready rolled marzipan a go this year.
Never had so much faffing when marzipanning a cake! I actually broke a sweat trying in vain to get it to sit correctly (not helped by pup trying to offer her assistance 
)
Whatever you do - do not touch this product! Much easier to roll your own disc and make the strips to go around the sides of the cake.
