Cut in half (or quarters if quite large)lightly boil (so just cooked), toss in butter and serve with chopped roasted chestnuts (can get tins or roast yourself)

I've made this recipe 2 years running now and for me it's certainly one of the nicest ways of doing sprouts that I've tried.

Honey and wholegrain mustard glaze with crispy bacon bits, it's the only way my step-dad will eat them. His mum was impressed, she's been trying for nearly 60 years to get him to eat sprouts Grin

Cut a cross into the ends or cut in half. Cook until just soft. Then sauté in crushed garlic, soft brown sugar and butter until falling apart. Lovely!
