What do you do with them?

I usually buy a bag of frozen ones to avoid wasting any & use them up on Sunday dinners. This year my dp has requested ones on a stalk (think it's th novelty of them being on the stalk that attracted him Xmas Grin ). So, what's a nice tasty way to cook them?

I parboil, then fry in butter and garlic and add toasted almonds

Boil and then glaze with honey and wholegrain mustard and sprinkle with bits of crispy bacon.

I boil mine, and throw in some peeled chestnuts. Wouldn't mind adding bacon too, but my sister (who is coming for Christmas) is vegetarian.

I think I'll go with parboiling, and then frying in butter with toasted almonds.

DP not keen on honey or mustard or I'd be tempted to do that because I love both.

Never tried chestnuts so now may be the time for trying those out as well......

Thanks for the ideas Xmas Smile
