...I have until tomorrow morning to get my Christmas cards written, addressed, stamped and in the post box.

I've lost my list of people to send to, no idea where the addresses are and really can't face writing them.

I will be starting a similar thread this time next week but instead of it being about writing Christmas cards it'll be about buying wrapping presents.

This is the most disorganised I have ever been at Christmas. I seem to be getting worse each year .

Going to remove myself now and write at least 5 cards before I come back .

I don't write cards. Am I a bad person?

I'm kind, loving and hard working but I just say happy christamas in person instead over a cuppa tea.

I don't even feel bad about it. It's a waste of time, money, paper etc in my view and if anyone minds they haven't said.

Life is too short to beat yourself up over this imo.

I'm with you on that one Lovemygirls. I don't like receiving them either.

Well, this year if you don't manage to send all your cards they'll probably assume that they got lost in the mail due to snow chaos.

I've written all mine and was going to the post office today.

Shouldn't have bothered as snow is back with avengance so cards won't be getting to anyone by Christmas.

Can you tell I'm sick of the snow?

Well I wrote them last night and posted them this morning.

The cards that get posted are to friends who aren't close enough (in distance) to pop in for a cuppa.

I'm feeling a little less dis-organised now and have even wrapped quite a few presents - posted some and others are ready to give to mindees next week.

Oh and I found my list of people to send cards to while I was tidying up after finishing writing them .
