Secret Santa WWYD?

We did Secret Santa at work today. The idea was to spend £5 on a fun gift.

I got a lovely gift set from M&S that cost £15 (price left on). Turns out to be from someone who didn't quite understand how it all worked, doesn't speak good English, is a bit strapped for cash and who received a really naff gift herself.

WWYD, bearing in mind that I shouldn't really know who it is from???

How about taking the £10 overspend and buying her something typically British and Christmassy? You could give it to her directly or just leave it on her desk.

Maybe turn up in the new year with a cake for her? Or offer to buy her lunch?

I could do but it would have to be after Christmas as I won't see her til we return to work on the 4th.
Would have to admit that I know it was her tho'.

M and s do a three for two offer. A you sure she paid £15 for it. It may hqve been the free item.

Also she perhaps could have been given it herself and is recycling the gift perhaps?
