Angel costume

Hi everyone - I have been taksed with making an Angel costume for my daughter's nativity play next week. Can manage the costume itself, but does anyone have any ideas on how to go about making the halo??? All ideas/suggestions greatly appreciated! Sx

just get a length of silver tinsel and make it head sized. it doesnt have to stick up. twist the end or use cotton to hold it together

yeah, i'd go with wrapping tinsel round the head, too - have they said it has to sit above her head?

If you are desperate to get it to sit above her head, use a hair band and some florists wire and twist one end of the wire onto the top of the band firmly. Use the other end to come straight up a few inches, form a circle and twist the circle closed. Cover with tinsel.

I'd stick with the tinsel around the head, much easier and it will only be pulled off!
