Hi - we will be doing a 5 hour car journey from London at christmas. I think we need to get an incar dvd player to enable us to survive the journey!!

Can anyone recommend a good portable dvd player you can use in your car. We have 2 kids so will need one with 2 screens. I understand you can either get ones that show the same film on both screens or different films on each screen - which is better?

Thanks for your help
Merry Christmas

We've currently got 1 with 2 screens but they share the film, but it doesn't work properly now so for xmas boys getting a new one with different film on each screen.

Some of decision depends on age of child and whether they agree on what to watch! Obviously if they are too young/or don't like headphones it wouldn't be too good having 2 films on at the same time!

Don't really know if different films will be better (but MIL was determined that's which 1 she was going to get!!!). There isn't that much difference in price, think she got Bush ones from Argos. It's not something we use loads, only put in the car for long journeys but boys not very gentle with it!

We only have one. Cost us about £30 on ebay. Wouldn't be without it on a long journey.
