Do you just trap the wire in a window? Or do you leave the window open a tiny but all the time?

And how do you make them stay on the tree branches?

We would put the wire into one of the sockets in the garage and use a timer for them - the wire feeds under the garage door no problem.

I've got the wire trapped in the window but I have single glazed wooden windows rather than double glazing.

My tree lights are in a conifer so just nestle in amongst the needles.

hmm, no garage here. Our windows are single glazed and very draughty, so that could work.

My wire is trapped through the door...I put my lights round the porch and used hooks...but my bro says that on a tree you can use cable ties.

Cable ties eh?
