Are there any good ones? Or should I just accept they're all the same and get some cheap plastic landfill tat for the hat and the bang?

Good point well made. Tbh the first box looks a bit like any other 'luxury' crackers we've had over the years. Lipstick holder, nail clippers etc. However, not sure that we have six swarovski fans in the family, so the second option may not please everyone.

I tend to go for cheap myself (got scandi-style ones in Wilkos for 80p!) but Cox & Cox have ones called Great Games Crackers which include a game of bingo & charades which I was tempted by - they are £12 though...

Yeah that's the two extremes of their range (the crystal ones only have 6 in t he box mind you!).
They have other ones in between. But it all comes down to price. What's your price range so we can try and look for some 'non plastic tat' ones Grin

I like a fortune telling fish myself.....I like to know the level of my fickleness on Christmas day Xmas Grin

If they were interesting I wouldn't mind spending up to £30 for 6. I like the games idea, dh LOVES bingo!

Make your own. Very easy, costs as much as you want, and you can have exactly what you want inside. Last year I bought plastic wind-up insects which were raced up and down the Christmas table. In previous years I spent a fortune on miniature perfumes from Boots (they were a huge hit with the adults!). This year I haven't yet decided on contents (apart from some miniature candy canes I bought from Lakeland).
