Has anyone bought or tasted the Millione wine (Rose) available from the supermarkets - Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco. Costs £7.99 and for every bottle you buy £1 or so goes to help build a school in Africa? We are having Christmas lunch with our neighbours this year (a bit of a novelty for me). They have asked us not to bring anything - not even presents - they don't do presents - they would like us to give to charity instead. I will feel bad turning up empty handed and would like them this bottle of wine with the added goodness of helping others and hopefully they won't be offended. Makes feel less guilty about spending a lot on my DD this Christmas, but DH is not keen on this wine as we have never tasted it. I think it is a find idea and for £7.99 not likely to go wrong. Has anyone seen, heard of, or tasted this wine before? Please let me know what you thought of it.
