presents from others??

i am fed up!!!!!
why do i end up finding gifts from other people for my kids!???
can people not use their imagination?
i have just had the kids nan call to ask me to sort her gifts out to them all.
20 quid per child.
i struggled with what to get my eldest, so now im out of ideas!! what can i get him? he is 11.

tempting to suggest you get them crappy presents so the kids hate them and buck up the GP's ideas for next year.

but i'll be borign and say just get them vouchers.

although - 11 year olds at the moment love Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Percy Jackson books.
(that's what my nephew has asked for)

Having had several years of presents being bought which are unsuitable/not wanted, I now give suggestions, yes it's harder but at least I know what is going to be used. (an ant farm is not a suitable present in my house!)

If you really can't think of anything, buy a book and put the money in a piggy bank for later in the year when there is something needed.
