Cracker snaps

Fancy making my own crackers this year. Loads of places online to buy the snaps but just wondering if anyone had seen them in an actual shops?

(BTW I don't have Hobbycraft near me)

I got some in Hawkins Bazaar last year.

how do you secure the end of your cracker, eg the bits you actually hang onto and pull
