Asda do them, I get mine from there every year. Or if you live in the North and you have a Booths they do rather lovely organic ones that you can pre-order.

We will be getting ours from Morrisons, think they have them in stock now

M&S do them, fresh ones closer to Christmas.

You could also order from a local reputable butcher, or a local farm.

You can order from Sainsburys too..

I got mine from Morrisons last year about now (I just popped it in the freezer). I will go and have a look after work on Wednesday for one and get the trimmings to go with it too.

We got a free range one from Lidl last year.

You can usually order one from a butcher.

When do you usually buy them and how much do you reckon I need for 2 adults and 3 children? Would like a little bit left over for 2 adults cold salad.

Aldi have a sausage meat stuffed crown with bacon lattice on top - you'd need two for 16 people though as its about 2.5kg. From memory its just under £10 - in the frozen section.

Alternatively for 15 people I get a stuffed crown from Costco 3.5kg. I bone, stuff and bacon wrap two large turkey drumsticks. They cook for just a bit less than the crown, don't take up much more oven space, are cheap, carve
as easily as the crown and offer the darker more flavoursome meat for the one person in the group who likes to have something to complain about.
