Rainbox Box - WTFF?

(The first F is for 'Flying' BTW)

DD is almost five. Her Xmas list was

  1. A Snow White Prince but not a Snow White (PITA, have had to send to Uncle in US as they don't sell them here, and hoping against hope it will arrive in time)
  2. Pirate Flag (great, £2.50)
  3. A Toy Donkey (Hmm, but sorted)
  4. A Flower Box (have got some flowerY cases from Sainsburys)
  5. A Rainbox Box.... AND I'M REALLY STUCK ON THIS!

Can anyone point me in the direction of either some colourful storage or beautiful trinket/jewellry boxes?? Nothing more than a tenner.

I know I'm weak but she's not really asked for much, and she's such a funny little thing. She almost didn't want to write to FC as last year she asked for a pink scooter but he brought her a multicoloured one. I was rather shocked when she came out with that!

There is an item on EBay:

Barbie Fairytopia Music Jewellery Box Over the Rainbow. Plays over the rainbow, not sure if it has actual rainbows, difficult to see.

more than you wanted to pay but

how about this

Hawkmoth · 29/11/2010 16:53

I don't think either are specific enough. Everything has to be very specific with her, she's a very precise little girl. :(

Why don't you just go to Hobbycraft and buy some paints and a wooden box?

Dexterrocks · 29/11/2010 17:04

Can you make her a rainbow box?

Or you do get rainbow stickers so you could as ready says, get her a box and rainbow stickers etc and she can make the box. Would be loads of fun for her.
Or get a massive storage/toy box and cover it in rainbow stickers?

Hawkmoth · 29/11/2010 17:18

Sadly I don't think my painting skills would be up to it, and she's expecting "a box with a picture of a rainbow on it or lots of rainbows"... so stickers wouldn't do.

I AM looking at Rainbow stickers though to try to make something myself!

To illustrate HOW specific she is, this morning she came down to find toast out for her and burst into tears because (we found out after five minutes of crying and not communicating) she wanted Cheerios.

Fablon don't do a Rainbow pattern, sadly!
