X-Box live .....need help please!

What do I have to do/buy to set this up?
We have the console but am confused as to what I need to do next.

set it up link to the internet, so you need either the wireless connector or a cable to plug into your modem from the xbox, go online and then pay for it by card.
the wireless bit for the internet is expensive around £60 iirc.

You also need to pay the xbox live subscription fee, either online or you can buy it in voucher form.

And a headset!!

We get a 3 month subs at less than £20

So it's a fair bit on top, with the adaptor and games etc!

We also have plug and play, saves on batteries, that was £10.
