Couple presents

So I need ideas for a present for a lovely couple. Budget £40-50. They are late 30's. Their DC is now 14, so old enough to be left.

I was wondering if cinema vouchers is a rubbish idea? I like it but at the same time don't.

Does anyone have any suggestions for couple presents? Already done made-up hampers, champagne and flutes etc etc.

If you were just getting freedom from needing to arrange a babysitter for your nights out what would you like to do (that I can organise a gift for!)?

I'm just trying to decide whether to buy my parents theatre tickets. Never bought them a joint present before. i'm also worried as its on in Feb when we had the bad snow last year.

Cinema vouchers is a great idea. Do you have an arty cinema near you?

I used this company last year for theatre tickets, and will be again this year.
