How old when they stop believing in Santa?

My daughter will be 10 in the new year and I think she still does believe in santa despite her 12 year old cousins best effort to convince her otherwise.

What age did you or your DC stop believing?

I have an 18 month old so even if she stops next year, she'll still get the stockings etc should I bribe her with those to keep quiet or just let DS understand that once you stop believing, Santa won't bring them...

my only son is 11 and he still believes but I think this is because Im so desperate for him to keep believing because he's my baby! I know, sounds sad and ridiculous but when you've only got one child it's a far bigger loss when they start to grow up! However, he's 12 in May so perhaps when he starts asking little questions about Santa rather than magic up some answer I might drop little hints that Santa doesn't really exist...sniff sniff.

I will make sure my boys know the truth before they go to secondary school - can you imagine the teasing if they still "believe" Sad

I'll believe in anything (I'm 24) if it means getting the presents I want from my parents Grin
