we have a bop it, kids play with it in waves really - my 4 year old can't manage but the 6 and 9 year old are v competitive with it! not worth £20 tho, look for a offer somewhere

I've always wanted this for myself but never felt able to justify the cost on a whim. Played it a couple of times at friends and loved it.
Have seen it for about £15 on an odd occassion when it wasn't my birthday or Xmas. I'm way more than 8 btw.

Bop it is the most annoying toy in our house. The noise it makes drives me up the wall. If you have a low tolerance for irritating noise, then steer clear of it. Grin

Annoying but addictive - though agree that it goes in phases. DD (8) has had one (the older version without the new 'shout it' addition) for a couple of years, and she and her friends dig it out every month or so and get into it for a few days again. It is very loud, so I have to leave the room unless I can have a go.

thanks for the feedback, think the noise side might have put me off ( i get cross with the noise those go go hamsters make!)
