DD (7) would love one as we live near the beach and wants to go beachcombing!! I've looked online and in Argos etc and the price varies but I wasn't sure if any were known as being particularly good or particularly rubbish!! I remeber as a child (many moons ago) someone had one and you could hold it over metal and it wouldn't do anything so don't want to end up with one like that!! Thanks!
