I'm struggling a bit as it feels like ds has suddenly grown up a lot and much of what I look at seems a bit young for him but I'm not sure what the next stage is??

He doesn't need anymore lego. Help I'm lost!!

DS also want a buzz lightyear but he already has one but some reason his doesn't have wings and is therefore inadequate but I refuse to fork out 40 quid jsut for a pair of wings!

Never heard of magnext will take a look. I can think of lots of odds and sods to get but want to make sure he has some stuff that he can actually play with on the day

Yes, I wondered about Skyrail. What is it??

And does anyones DS have the army Metal Detector? And is it good?

Sorry, think it's the HM Forces Metal Detector

skyrail so basically a marble run where you can make huge loops of rail. There are various sizes and sets, some have a lift.

ds has asked for a table football game but I have been looking at a second hand multi games table as I think he would love having football, snooker, air hockey etc to play!

Hmm I did wonder about the air hockey too

These are usefull ideas thank you!

DS2 is 6 and all he seems to want is K-Nex after playing with it at school.
We'll probably also get him an MP3 player (loaded with his favourite choons) as he's really into music.
I don't know what else.
