I was thinking about getting dd to pick out a nice christmas tree ornament for her teachers and ta's - do you think that would be ok?? Thought they'd get tonnes of choc and wine or would they be more appropriate?

I have got my dc teachers personalised notebooks from funky pigeon. They are good quality and as I had a 50% voucher a bargain.

I took the easy (but very gratefully received) way out last year and bought some blank white cards, got DS to stick his hand in some green paint, put it onto the card (to look like a xmas tree) and then with his fingers, did different colour paint baubles and then went to the newsagents and bought a xmas scratch card and sellotaped it to the inside of the card! Went down a treat, even though no-one won anything :)
