Someone talk to me about buying a PS3

Thinking of getting DH one what do i need to know?

I got my dp one last year got a good deal at argos cant remember exactly but I think it was £280 with 3 games and camera so good value at the time :)

This year they seem to be a bit cheaper I think they were £199 in sainsburys last week :(

Mabye you would be best getting a deal with some games included though as they can be pricey seperately :) also I would advise getting the one with more memory seems to run better :) hth

thanks - i need to do some home work, he has an xbox but its an old one, just trying to work out between a new bit for the xbox or a ps3

dh has the ps3 and we've brought ds the new xbox in dh's eyes your either a playstation or and xbox man for some reason.

Dh's is the older style ps3 as i got it him when it was first released 3 yrs ago and it has been fantastic no problems at all with it was don't actaully own a dvd player any more as its a blu ray player as well.

We've brought ds the xbox for this christmas and the best deal i could find was in tesco with 2 games.

If you have any specific questions i can ask dh for you.

seem to have 2 threads somehow! DH has checked and his xbox is not compatible with the kintex thingy so its either a new xbox or a ps3!! need to do some homework on this.

We have xbox games and a working xbox console and lots of extra bits which apparently would work with the new xbox and kintex thingy.

but the PS3 has sing star which scores points with me!!!

I woul dvote ps3 but be aware that the ps3 no longer supports ps2 games but ps1 for some reason.

If you connect it to the iinternet you can access bbc iplayer! I hate the games but at least I can catch up with eastenders
